Between 2010 and 2013, the former Residence Post Office was redeveloped. Only the facades and the portal which are under monument protection stayed while the modern parts were carefully adapted to the historic surroundings. Around the protected court yard exclusive shops and gastronomy concepts are located. On the higher floors offices and doctors as well as – on the top – the apartments of PALAIS AN DER OPER LIVING.
Big names have settled on the ground floor of the Palais. Maison Luis Vuitton, traditional jeweller Bucherer, Boutique Daniels and the two restaurants Kuffler Grill – a restaurant of the Munich cuisine dynasty Kuffler with first-row seats under the famous arcades – and the Kleine Kameel – a favourite among staff at the Palais who appreciate the excellent Italian cuisine and a cosy atmosphere.
World-famous companies and internationally renowned physicians specialised in various fields have all found their home at the Palais.
